How old do you have to be to rent a car with Payless?


This very much depends on the country or state you’ll be renting in, but as a general rule of thumb, 21 is the minimum age. For those aged under 25, car choice is usually limited to certain models, and you will almost always have to pay a surcharge.

It’s worth checking in advance to find out if there are upper age limitations or mature driver surcharges in the location you’ll be renting in, although this isn’t the case at US branches of Payless.


Which cars can you rent from Payless?
