The Hyatt Regency was amazing! We checked in very early and they had a room ready for us and even offered an upgrade! We were on the 33rd floor with a spectacular view! The check in process was so smooth and the employee was so friendly! The room was clean and the hotel was in the PERFECT location for walking to everything. We can’t wait until our next visit to Chicago. We will definitely be staying at the Hyatt Regency again and would recommend it to everyone!

Staff and service were excellent, and the views of the lake were totally worth it! My room, however, was located across from a noisy and leaky ice machine. Bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable and I couldn’t get the room temp to level off - it was either too hot or too cold. Also, water pressure in the shower was underwhelming to say the least.
Always an excellent stay
The property is in urgent need of re novato on. Rooms are awful carpets were discussing, mildew on the bathroom. This is not a 4 star hotel, any motel would be better inside. Stay away until they rennovate. At least the managers were really nice.
The stay was decent, restaurants were quite expensive and rooms need updating with at least microwaves. The parking situation is really a ridiculous cost.
